I currently teach the violin for South Gloucestershire Music Hub, as well as schools across Wales and the South West. My teaching consists of individual lessons and a mixture of small and large groups.
Previously, I taught the violin for Making Music, Changing Lives, where I gave weekly group lessons to children aged between six and ten. The organisation offers instrumental lessons to children free of charge and gives them the experience of classical music and the opportunity to play range of instruments. I have worked for the Pre-College Department at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where I supported staff in a range of lessons and orchestra rehearsals. I have taught the violin and music theory since 2009 and have run chamber music sessions for young children at Bablake School.
I recently completed the ABRSM Diploma in Instrumental Teaching, which provides a thorough grounding in teaching philosophy, the curriculum and educational administration.
